Without Joomla I would not have been able to start my web design business and create a thriving company that has grown to have 7 employees.

It was 9 years ago i found this community and which has grown with each passing year. My story with Joomla is not very different to most of the people.

It was winter time here in southern hemisphere in 2006 and i had just passed out of my college with no luck in getting a decent job. So i started to look for some freelancing work. And it was not possible to survive without Joomla and the help i got from the community.

Over the years i have used various extentions and met many knowledgable and fun people working for the same cause. Looking back now my life would be so incomplete without Joomla.

You are a dynamic LEO baby. Happy Birthday Joomla. :)

I first found Joomla in late 2008.  I left my corporate job and was looking to build a professional site for myself and a colleague. I saw several CMS options so I researched.  I paid attention to a CMS comparison chart put together by Steve Burge.  Joomla seemed like the right one for me to try first. Ever since I started I just keep going deeper and have never been compelled to go elsewhere.  Joomla! is now a way of life :-)

I love my J!Friends whom I met by Joomla! Without Joomla! I'd never met them. Our relationships become something more than only a common training, work, or doing business. That people create unusual community of mutual learning and motivating of others. I warmly thank for the time spent together and these happy moments together :-)
Thanks Joomla! my world is more interesting and full of challenges!

10 years since it arrived, and 8 years since I first started playing around with it, and now I just can't imagine life without Joomla! It's woven into the threads of my day-to-day routine; my company, my friendships, my successes all have their roots in Joomla and the amazing community that sprung up around it. If it disappeared tomorrow, that's probably the part I'd miss the most; the knowledgeable, fun and downright incredible people who strive to keep everything together and improving just for the love of it.
