When Joomla started I was looking for a cms. Joomla was too hard to learn, so I started using something else. Later I developed my own cms but due a lack of time I had to stop working on it. Realising projects for customers was more important. Because a website needs a cms I started to look around. Someone mentioned Joomla and told me how easy it was. So about 4 years ago I tried Joomla (2.5) again and never left it.Thank you Joomla for your great cms and many thanks to all developers and the great community! Happy Birthday!

10 wonderful years with Joomla. I remember, I was a student when I started to build my first website with HTML. I didn't know PHP/MySql at all. Then I found Joomla, a CMS based on PHP. I tried to quickly learn the basics of PHP. If you love what you do, you learn faster. After PHP, it took, no more of six weeks to enter the Joomla world. Since then, I'm with Joomla 10 years. I have made amazing things with Joomla. More than 40  sites for clients, about 60 custom extensions, 5 premium extensions and 6 free extensions. Now Joomla is the main source of my income.

Thank you for everything Joomla!

Happy Birthday :)

TOP!!

It all started on a beautiful morning at my College in Malaysia when I recieved a notice  for my final Diploma Project. I became confused on how to begin my final project because we needed to develop a website and was not good at Coding. Suddenly a good friend of mine came to me and said " Do you know Joomla?" i replied Joomla in my language means Total. He said to me go online read about Joomla and you wont have to worry again about your project.

Without any delay i went back home and begin my reseach on joomla, reading about the forum, community and contribution by the global community. I started learning it the hard way, but it paid well at teh end. I learnt Joomla 1.5 then and was a ble to complete my Final year project which earned me the best project under my category in the College. "Without Joomla, i wouldnt have Achieved that"

After graduation from college and now furthering my degree program at a new University College, I became the first to spread the Word Joomla in my University College and started training others... Booom```` Joomla Explodes and Many students started using Joomla!.  It indeed changed many students life as they started building website for people to earn little pocket money.

Without relenting in me effort to promote the use of Joomla,  I have succeeded in empowering hundreds of people on Joomla. Joomla is about people, connecting people around the world and am PROUD of being part of the community.

I am wishing JOOMLA, the Founders and the Global community continuous Success.

Congratulations and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JOOMLA! - Joomla, You have change many lives positively and we are greatful :)

I would have never met all of the dedicated and passionate Joomla! project contributors. The project is fortunate to have them, their passions, and their talents. I am lucky to have had the experience of working alongside and forming friendships with a lot of really awesome people around the world. All these awesome people are so talented and inspiring, it's contagious. Personally, I have been inspired by so many great people in so many ways. All of the Joomla! contributors have made me a better person, a better contributor, and for that, I thank you Joomla!
